Absolutely gorgeous 60s 3-piece mod skirt suit made of luxurious beige silk shantung. The set consists of:
A round neck, sleeveless shell top with rear metal zipper and full green lining.
A refined pencil skirt with side plastic zipper (and hook and eye) and fully lined in yellow gold with hang ties at waist.
A boxy blazer with wide pointed collar, faux vertical waist pocket flaps and large round plastic shank buttons. Fully lined in yellow gold. Comes with a spare button sewn on the inside.

COLOUR: A golden or bronzed shade of beige

FABRIC: Silk shantung

CONDITION: This set does have some fabric issues which we have detailed below. Most of these issues are very minor and the main one would be the shedding on the collar and left shoulder. Reversing the collar and patching the shoulder might be the best option. In any case, the suit is still worthwhile as the quality of the construction is evident in person. Waiting for that person willing to give it some TLC!
- Jacket: The silk has shed in some areas: the collar, shoulders, top button hole, sleeve ends, hem. Repairs have also been made to tears in the back of the sleeves. A mark beside the top buttonhole, bottom buttonhole and the back right side near the hem.
- Top: Some discolouration and shedding to the front armholes. Stains on the back neck of the lining.
- Skirt: It looks like the side seams have been let out as you can still see the previous seam lines. What appears to be a water mark on the front. A small mark on the back waist.
